Somebody recently sent in a question about NLCB & technology in the
classroom. Here is a link from the NAEA site that related to that issue;
it's a recent 2005 survey's results.
Our county's Intermediate Unit offers a "CORE Skills: Technology in the
Classroom," free on-line, 3-credit course which is grant-funded. If you want
more info, the e-mail for coordinator is: Lori [lrodgers@arin.k12.pa.us] She
is very nice & has a great grasp of adult education in general.

Dear Art Educators,
"New Graphic Site" is a new virus. It targets Yahoo email users and
Yahoo Groups. Email does not come with an attachment....All you have
to do to get infected is open the email. This one just came out today.
I opened one on my Yahoo account before I knew what it was. So.....
soon you folks will probably start getting them from me. I can not get
Norton protection for this one until Wednesday.
Just thought I would give you a heads up. I believe it only targets
Yahoo email users.

Many colleges in NY require that their teachers have a
portfolio as well. I don't know if that makes you
feel any better about being put on the spot about your
own work but they are held accountable for lesson
plans and pics with their kids too.

Thanks for the warning. Luckily I don't have a Yahoo account...but what
a subject line! Just the kind of thing all of us on the list would
open! Hope it doesn't spread to other email servers.
Maggie (waiting by the phone, hoping I got the job)

I am taking a workshop through Intel and we are creating technology rich
lessons. I am doing mine on VanGogh, and while I have the unit mapped out, I
am needing online resources. I have been searching for over an hour and am
not seeing some of the cool links I have seen before, which I assume were
posted on this list. Does anyone have some links to share? I need them by
morning. :-)
