Judy,
This year I taught a special class called "Social Studies / Multicultural
Art". I bought just about every book in a series called "Hands-on" by Yvonne Y.
Merrill. There is "Hands-on Asia", "Hands-on America", Hands-on Africa",
"Hands-on Celebrations", etc.,etc.
These books are just LUSCIOUS. They are full of wonderful, gorgeous pictures
of the projects. The lessons are easy to follow too!
I am not sure if Sax carries this series, but if they do, I HIGHLY recommend
this series.
