I believe that no matter what level you teach, especially middle school, a
teacher must exercise a sense of humor. Without the ability to experience a
laugh or two a day, no matter what you expect to accomplish or receive from your
students, they need to know that their teacher can and does laugh.
Understanding that there are those days that laughs can only happen outside the classroom
door, regardless, laughter is the best medicine.
