Hi. If I were leading this little parade, I'd still try to visit both. However, I'd make my own list of the top ten pieces to savor at the Louvre, then call it quits there and move on to the d'Orsay instead of trying to see everything at the big L. The d'Orsay contains more of the artists that I introduce to my highschool students, so I suppose that's why I favor it. Your plan to include cafe sitting time and shopping time sounds like the paradigm of wisdom to me. Bon Voyage. J.
