I wouldn't waste so much time going to the Cloisters. You can see all that
stuff and more at the Met. Don't forget the Guggenheim for content and
structure. It's across the street from the Met. I don' t know how long you'll be in
NYC. You have to decide what's of interest to you. The city can get very
expensive when you're eating out all your meals and paying for a hotel.
Remember, you can spend days at the Met, for example. It's huge. By the way, at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art they say....suggested admittance. You don't have to
pay the $8.00 or so that is listed. You can give them $2.00 I love Lincoln
Center and would say see that but it's up to you. I don't know if you're a
shopper or if you want to see sights like the Statue of Liberty. I would assume
I wasn't going to see that much. You can spend a month in NYC. Pick out
what interests you most and then ask the New Yorkers here what they think. New
York Magazine has everything listed. Try to get a copy. Take subways or buses
to get around. New York is amazing but expensive. Wear comfortable shoes
and have fun. Eileen
