I am also one who has succumbed to the allure of digital photography. I have
never made a print in the darkroom and I will expect I never will. I feel
after buying a digital SLR camera with 6.3 megapixals I can reproduce the images
I want without a darkroom. In fact the Darkroom is truly obsolete when you
introduce Photoshop capabilities. I would have to say that the darkroom is a
dinosaur and that digital will be the photography of the future. I know this
will get all the photo teachers up in arms, but I will say that I admire what
they can do with film and the darkroom. Since I have never had this experience
I can do my photography on the small screen.
