Kim,
How exciting. We can all watch your studio show! What kind of
supplies/art stuff will you be using in your studio? My dream studio
would have countertop the whole length of at least one wall with several
places to sit along that wall, shelves under and over. Built in
lighting and spot lights that could be directed as needed. A
sink...hmmm...I guess I would go for stainless steel, double sink if you
have room. Spray attachment. Countertops could be butcherblock or
formica for me. Light color. I would paint my floor, install a drain
if possible. One end would have a throw rug, cozy chair, reading lamp.
Various heights of seating would be nice along that countertop wall.
Then again, it could be a u-shape of countertop at one end and a sitting
area at the other end. I need to know what you are going to be doing
before I can dream further. Storage!!!! How exciting!
