I love sidewalk chalk and consider a nice wholesome outdoor activity....uh
not my head custodian and principal! I offered to have sidewalk chalk as a
recess activity and kept a huge bucket of it by my door so the kids could just
reach in and get it.....principal told me she did not want the kids writing on
the black top! I let them do it anyway, if they asked...a few did...there were
never any problems. My feeling was that our head custodian saw my e-mail to
the staff and went to her and complained! Go figure!!!
