I have done a beautiful project with kids and glitter, believe it or
not. Two projects, actually..
First one is "The city at night"....oil pastel cities on black paper,
glitter accents.
Second is a circus theme....glitter accents. Once again, oil pastel.
It's not for everything, that's for sure. ANd I worry about their eyes.
I warn them that it can reallyhurt theireyes if theyget it in them, and
they have it use it with supervision because of that....we put glue on
the paper, not too thick and drippy. I have glitter in dishes, not
glitter containers. WE have 18x24 paper folded in half under whatever
they are glittering...glue and glitter one color at a time, dump the
glitter on the paper, pour it off on the folded in half page, pick up
the folded page and let the glitter slide down the fold into the
container again. Not too bad, really. Just contain the area!
