Professionalism on the way out the door

The policiticians could make enough money to keep everyone working. All
they have to do is put toll booths on the freeways and make them into
turnpikes like they have in the East, but they won't do it. They would
rather enslave their own people by bringing in gambling casinos. All you
have to do to keep those people out is carry a petition against it. I
fought to keep a card room out of my neighborhood by carrying a petition.
Most of the people I approached signed it. Almost everyone I approached
signed it. There wasn't any support for it around here. The Richmond
Parkway could probably pay for half the public employees' salaries in this
area and a few nice art galleries and some after-school programs too. Let's
get a foothold in reality, folks.
