Our school uses the Boston Pros (all the rooms but the art room) and they
really are lousy.
I wish I was in my art room so I could tell you what I use. I remember it
cost me more than $100.00 but I've never had any problem with it - and kids have
shoved oil pastels, crayons, and brush handles in it. Most teachers at my
school won't let the kids use the pencil sharpeners for colored pencils - kind of
hard if you are an art teacher.
