Joe,
I have made sketchbooks by buying a case of legal sized paper, folding it in
half and using tagboard for covers. They cover the tagboard front and back
and then we bind it with japaness bookbinding techniques. Works good. The
kids tend to work more in a sketchbook they make theirselves.
