yup....it's all about the kids or you do it for the wrong reason! would
you still teach if they told you that you had to teach math too? would
you still do this if you had no money to spend on supplies or no room to
work in?

Art and Ed live down the block, and they are alive, if not well. They
tell
me "you've gotta start somewhere," "cross train your brain," "if it
feels
good, do it," and "watch your back" because the
"curriculum/accountability/standards" boogieman is lurking.

You can spend a whole life doing this and not begin to scratch the
surface.
 Remember, you teach kids, not just art. Spend your time well.
