<< So...my question to those of you that have worked with student
teachers...(I've not after about 11 full time years teaching)... do they
show up at your doorstep prepared with some kind of curriculum that the
university ed departments have prepared them for; or, as stray pups lost
that need help to find their way? hahaha....you know what I mean; ...I too
am curious what to expect. Thanks.... >>
The one I had was a School Board Members daughter so I really had to be on my
toes. I told her from day one that I planned to stay in that art position
for the rest
of my life and that I hoped she had luck finding a job near home somewhere!!!
We got along well but she took copious notes that bothered me after awhile.
took a look when she was out of the room and the notes were not complimentary.
Stuff she will never understand until she is in the classroom herself. The
do not teach you anything about teaching art!!! Good luck with your "pup".
Hope they understand shooting from the hip as mine didn;t! Roberta
