A project of the ancient art of scrimshaw... folk arts....pour little blobs
of plaster of paris on wax paper and carve designs in them...and paint, buff
and seal....and wear if you would like..just carve a hole in the top or add a
pin back or keychain.
You can incorporate a lesson on whales...and environmental concerns etc too
and why they don't do it today!
