I too have used Mary Ann Kohl's Discovering Great Artists with great success!
 If I'm
not mistaking, I used the Global Art book when I was looking for
Multicultural ideas.
For a new teacher, Mary Ann has wonderful ideas. Mary Ann, if you're reading

Oh--I'm asked to do alot of props for K-5 plays and I just received Mary
Ann's book,
Making Make-Believe. I just recently found the book and think I'll really
like it too.
