If you are on a Mac, get Office 2001 for the mac. It has powerpoint
included and it is very easy to use.
I create powerpoints on my i-Mac and burn a CD and then pop it into any
PC that has Office. Some features
from the mac do not transfer. But the presentation still works well.
I'm typing this while sitting in a cavenouse hall waiting on Steve Jobs
to speak.
Of course I'm using an i-book borrowed from Apple.
