1. Call your state education department and ask about the
requirements for an art room, with regard to space per
student. Do it now because you will be on hold and shifted
from one person to another, but lo and behold, you will
probably find some paperpusher that will give you the
answer...then go back to your room and do some measuring!
That will give you amunition for the PTA and UNION, as well
as a letter to your local paper.
2. If you have a viable PTA, then have 35 of the meet in
your room for a meeting (use subtefuge to get them there),
and then let them know that this is how THEIR kids have to
use the room.
3. And, where by the way, is your UNION??? This does quality
under WORKING CONDITIONS!
