I use folded notecards( cardboard) and have kids put their name on both
sides so I can see it from any place in the room. They can decorate it too. I
later realized I should have them put the short version for grade and
teacher's name on the inside too. We keep them on the shelf with art work in
a plastic sandwhich bag. I remind them that when a sub comes they are to have
them out and with the right person by them. My girlfriend keeps a copy of
each class photos so she can look at it when grading. Maybe these ideas will
help. I too have such trouble remembering names! Gail
