Reading all the back and forth "arguments" about the
weather has made me realize how good I have it. At my
school, the air conditioning is always too cold and
there is no way to balance it and please everyone. Kids
walk into my class and put on a jacket; all year round.
Even in August, though, some teachers will take their
classes out side and sit under a tree just because the
sky is clear and there's a breeze. Which is what makes
it special. Ordinarily, even last Sunday when the heat
factor made the temperature feel like 105, there is a
breeze. And unless it blows from the South, which is not
the most frequent, it is a cool breeze. So I'll stop
complaining about a too cold room and think of my
friends up north who suffer in the heat. And from
October to March, when there is no air conditioning
needed, I'll wear a sweater in school.
