i just saw a show about that ph otograph. Evidently, it was the second flag
raised. It was a more dramatic shot, which is why it was published instead
of the real first flag which was taken down to be preserved. They had the
two men who took the photos in the interview as well as someof the soldiers
in the photos. Interesting. JH
