There was a small, not too expensive hotel near the Madeleine that I set my
parents up in when I was a student and they came to visit. It had a private
bath which is always a comfort for us Americans, right? Anyway I can't think
of the name -- this was at least 20 years ago, but it was listed in Fodor's
and was a "moderate" place to stay.
