I have never gotten a good result from this project.
Our kids buy some of their basic art supplies.One year, several of my kids
had washable crayons (even though I stressed wax) which resulted in a
disaster for half a class. Then last year 6th grade did some and even though
I repeated for the 100th time, "crayon heavily", I found this is an
individual variable. I even showed them a non-example to see what happens
when they do NOT apply crayon heavily. Still.... I wonder if I will dump this
classic lesson entirely. If you have had a success story with it...pleeeeze
tell me how.
