Hi Perry,
If I have caught you in time go to the Heide in Bulleen - always great value - a Brack's exhibition has just finished and now it is the turn of Jeffrey Smart. The grounds are marvellous too, with the sculptures. The ACCA is good for modern art. The Australian Galleries here in Collingwood just bought (mind gone blank, sorry) a piece from the Mertz which I will definitely go to see. Chapel Street, Brunswick Street, and Smith Street are three places to go and check out the galleries in the Flinders Lane area and surrounds (Gabrielle Pizzi is always good). Oh, I could go on! I love telling people about Melbourne. And if you have any money left (and no GST fears) go to some of the restaurants. Had a lovely meal at Jimmy Watson's where the wine and service was extremely heartwarming.
