If you are handy with a screwdrive and know how to sharpen a knife, you can
probably fix it yourself. I am in the same boat...I have a huge paper
cutter, that needs some tlc (something I have not had time to give it this
year) and looked at replacing it..$1000!!! Anyway, over the summer, I will
be pulling out my sharpening stone. The other alternative, if you have very
handy and very nice custodians...or try putting in a work order with your
maintenence department. Good Luck!
