Our school district maintenance department will take care of paper cutter
maintenance over summer cleaning break if I provide a written note to the
principal. My cutter is 30 + years old and functions adequately for most
jobs.
If your high school has an industrial arts shop, the blade can be removed
from the cutter and sharpened separately at the shop.
