    I work in Texas. It's the law here that each teacher have 45 minutes plan
    each day. Mine comes at one school in the morning. 7:45-8:35. I usually have
    to stay after school until 5:00 to get organized. It's like having lab
    everyday and each class is doing a different project. I have two schools and
    am lucky to have a room at each school so at least I can organize the way I
    want. My other school is smaller and I have one hour, 45 mintues or more
    each day, depending on the day. I love having the time to hang art and plan.
     I would love more having one school, but a lot of teachers in my district
    with one school, work out of a room the size of my bathroom. I did the cart
    one year and hated it! I like having my own space and I think the kids
    respect you more when they come to the art room. Janet
