In my school district the 5 or 10 minutes between classes for the special
area teachers is counted in whatever planning time we get. In some years
I've had four consecutive classes in a row without even a minute in between
ending one and starting of the next class. Good kidneys and a super
bladder are necessary for all teachers, too. Check where and how many staff
restrooms there are. It may be 3-4 hours before you get to the loo.
day...but it is often spread out with 15 minutes here and there....hard to
get anything done in 15 minutes..but we do what we can.
