This has me concerned - are there many art teachers out there without a plan
period? This is illegal and you need to let them know it! That is one of the
first things I do when I receive my schedule is to count the minutes of plan
time. Our contracts state that all teachers receive 45 minutes per day, and
the administrators have the authority to switch this around, as long as it
balances out (high school teachers are on block, and thus receive 90 minutes
every other day). There have been times when I was not allowed enough plan
time, and this was fixed immediately. How can teachers NOT receive plan
time - even if we are "Art Teachers" (this is said sarcastically!)
