I agree totally. Everyone is at a certain level, and that is dependent on
practice and natural ability. It's one thing I try to stress to my
elementary students. They feel that they should be able to draw as well as I
do. I tell them that I have had much more practice and with enough practice
they can draw like I can someday. Tough to get them to see that side of it.
My favorite example is Michael Jordan and his first tryout for his school
basketball team. He didn't make it the first time, but with enough practice
and determination, he made it the next year and practice until he reached his
superstar level. Even then he continued to practice. That seems to help.
Just my thoughts.
