No suggestion as I have the same situation with the fourth and fifth graders
and some of the highschoolers. I like the suggestion of someone to let the
teachers
have a look at unclaimed artwork and select artwork that they like for their
homes. At least it still will
be appreciated and loved. I try to teach students respect and admiration for
their
artwork but they still throw out all too much. I say - "your parents want to
see your
artwork" they reply " my parents hate my artwork" so maybe home isn;t a safe
place for their art and they;d rather throw it away than take the risk of
it being rediculed at home??? Roberta
