re: how to get students to take home their artwork...

    Hi All,

        I was thinking, could you make the assignment of taking the artwork home
    and getting a letter signed by the parent to bring back to you, a course
    requirement. Kinda like when they send home progress reports. That way, they
    and the parents will see how important it is.
        I really like the idea of the year-long portfolio, played around with the
    thought for a few years now, but with the inspiration of the group, I just
    might attempt it this year. After all, change is good.... isn't it ????
        In my quest to rearrange my artroom I will make a portfolio area, for
    storage of these folders.
