Hello friends,
Now that the majority of us have put yet another year behind us, it's time
to reflect on the good, bad and the ugly. My ugly thing this past year was
the amount of unclaimed art I had left over. I announced on the morning
announcements for WEEKS on top of weeks for students to please come pick up
their unclaimed art. It just seems middle school kids are not interested in
getting their stuff. We did some real fun projects this year that I was very
proud of and thought they were too- I don't want throw the works away, but I
just don't have the room to save it all. I went through the many stacks and
saved the better peices for examples for next year and threw the rest away-
over 200 pieces! It sickened me to have to do that. Who out there has a
better way of getting the art back to the kids? I want to have a game plan
set now so that when we go back to school, I am armed (so to speak)! :)
Have a nice day-
jeannie in ga
