    Are the shirts 100% cotton or 50/50? It makes a big difference in the
    outcome!
    Also, are you treating the material with any type of baking soda or sods ash?
    The dye that I use requires the shirts to be soaked in a waterbath with a ph
    of 11 for 5 minutes before you put on the dye.
    You might also need to wash the shirts before remove any sizing (sp?) in the
    material.
