    I, too, prefer quality over quantity of lessons. Last year, we accomplished
    more units of study but they were less deep. I always felt rushed. 3 good
    solid units of study seem about right for a 9 week term. It's frustrating
    to not expose the kids to a wider variety of media and techniques, but an
    overall feeling of success and a deeper understanding of what they are
    experiencing will keep them coming back for more ( in 8th grade or later in
    high school.) I think I will stick with this approach for next year.
