Corben is from Sunflower Kansas, grew up there. Born in MO. Do you
specifically mean KS or MO, since they are border states. Kirk lived
in KCMO, now in LA and works for Disney. Sorry John's here
correcting me, he's conversed with Tim. Oh Hannnes Bok was born
KCMO.Walt not from there, I think Chicago but lived there and went
to KCAI as Rich did.

this is his web site-I don't know why it's down maybe he's working
on it.
Sandra
John knows them because of Fantasy Science fiction and illustration.
Say are you in KS?? I know I have rich's number somewhere. He's
pretty introverted but perhaps he could come by or Donna, his better
half could help. Stan Dresser is one of his best friends and close
to him. Let me know. Say makes me glad I turned him down to pose for
one of his paintings now- to think people could see me in the
BUFF.LOL If his web site comes back just email him. He's one of the
few artists who does his own site. He may not remember me, but stan
will so just tell him I worked with Stan and he'll know what you
mean.
(I'm not sure but you could check with the admin. building at KCAI-
Dale Eldred, Jim Leedy, Ken Ferguson Bill McKim,Hugh Merril all
taught while I was there and perhaps some are from there.)
YOu might include William Burroughs (born and raised in Chicago) but
lived most of his later life in Lawrence Kansas and died there. Did
you go to the funeral??? I had few friends who did and some were
aquaintences of his. Only heard him read a few times.
