I too, have asked CBS to do this (and I even know someone who works for
them) I think they are missing a great opportunity. The segments usually
run about 10 minutes - just long enough to keep the kid's attention. The
problem I find with the feature length artist videos, is that they are just
TOO BORING, even for me.
I missed taping a segment CBS did on Vermeer once. I called their 800
number after the show. I spent $29.95 for a tape of the entire show, but it
was worth it for the Vermeer. Maybe if we all start lobbying them to put
something together from past shows they will consider it. I'll keep trying.
Again, give the show a try. If there is a major exhibit of an artist's work
in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, or Washington they are sure to cover it.

Does anyone else miss Charles Kurault as much as I do?
