Dear Woody(and other artsednetters who read this)
Goodbye for awhile and enjoy and cherish every minute of your time at Taos(
I would love to hear more about that place someday) and also at the Lake
with the beautiful triplets.
I myself am going off the listserv for awhile. Of course I have not been
contributing much lately, simply too much to do. Right now I am putting the
final touches on the works for a show that I am doing with a very
handicapped student of mine. We have been working together for a while and
will be opening a show with seven painted quilts that we did in
cooperation and some more of his own works next Sunday(the 18th) in the
cooperative galleri that I am a member of. It has been a fantastic
experience working with him.
Then I am off to Italy for three weeks with my daughter the cellist, we
will stay with friends and family and she will actually give some concerts
in the church in a small town her grandfather grew up in. Then we will
delight in all the fantastic art. I lived in Italy for six years so I know
it well.
After the middle of July I will enjoy the rest of the summer in beautiful
Iceland. And then the big change in my life; I start school next fall, my
Masters in Art education, first year IŽll do in Iceland and the second year
in Finland, I am so excited. But I will continue to follow you my artsednet
friends. I hope everyone has a wonderful summer and fills up with new
energy for the coming schoolyear.
The very warmest regards from the far north where the sun shines just about
all day and night right now,
Rosa
