Yes! I suupose visual journals are just extensions of the hummock making
packrat personalities that we are... but I think our students need to be MORE
this way. Some of my students are so anal retentive that they try to make
"chapters" out of their journals, add page #'s, etc. It's ok though. At least
they are looking at things and reflecting on ideas. Thanks for sharing your
scrapbook stories with me. I, too, love to look at my old journals. I still
want to make this granny square afghan with black, pink and orange squares
which I stuck in my college journal in 1978!
