    Hi,

I just got a Kodak DC240. It costs about $500. It too has a flash card but the thing about it that I think is best is that the camera has a USB connection. If you have an iMac or a PC with a USB connection you can send the pictures right from the camera to the computer.

I've used both the Sony Mavica (with disk) and the Nikon Cool Pix 950
    (with flash card).
I love them both. The Sony is nice because you can plunk the disk right
into your computer. The Cool Pix is nice because it's faster and just
seems like a nicer camera with more options. But that Sony disk set up is
wonderful. Both can be used with email, but the disk makes it easier for
    traveling to use. Your choice!!
