    For an interesting perspective about the use of the Internet and the
    Digital Divide, take some time to read Andy Carvin's speech at NYU.  I
    thought to post this to you because it brings up something that is
    vaguely related to the urban legends issue that has been running through
    this thread.  Andy moderates the wwwedu list, a list for educators ( not
    nearly as much fun or as supportive as the artsednetters are, but the
    info is relevant to all educators).
