    Hi Everybody

My name is Patricia and I am from Argentina, I logged in Artsednet a week ago. I'm fascinated with all the subjects that you talk about, some of them are completely familiar to me while some others I have to accept that are quite far from my understanding. First because they deal with your country's school regulations and some because some of you write in a "queer" way. All the same I enjoy reading all the messages everyday.

I'm really surprise about the amount of things that we share although we are separated by some thousands miles. At my country we also have Art classes at most of the schools, public and private. I work at two private bilingual schools.

What I wonder is why anybody else from my country hasn't meet you yet. We are experiencing an Internet fascination here!. Every day more and more people are connecting to the Web.

One of the principal differences that I notice is that although you are not satisfied with the budgets assigned to Art at your system, are several times larger than that we have here.

In most of the schools( I mean the 95% of them) we don't even have a special room for our classes. So upon that you can guess the rest. Low salaries and every kind of disadvantages , don't stop art teachers teach and encourage pupils through creation and self esteem. I think most of us, including other disciplines' teachers, are doing miracles.

I'm very happy of sharing this list and I'm almost feeling I've got a lot of friends among you.

    Pat
