    The Arts Educators Forum is at Savannah College of Art and Design June
    17-24. The program involves 2 daily workshops from a selection of many
    (can't remember #) taught by the college instructors. You make 5 choices
    and get 2. I am taking Mixed media and your B/W photos (my 1st choice)
    and Colored pencil techniques(5th choice). They have built into the
    schedule studio time as well as activities at night (lectures, museums,
    city tours, etc.). The week ends with critiques and a show of all the
    work. The cost is $250, including room and board. Unfortunately it fills
    quickly. I signed up in March when it was first announced and an art
    teacher friend signed up a week later and didn't get a place. Contact
    SCAD about being put on the mailing list for next year. It sounds like
    fun,this is my first time going. Away from home, no housework, husband,
    teenager, etc. and I get to spend a week just me and my artwork! Ah,
    bliss!!
