Hi Sherry, I don't make up any classes. It is a logistical nightmare to even
consider it. They would ask me after snow days, field trips, and convos. What
I used to do ,was tell them to ask a teacher if they'll switch- then let me
know. There is no way I'm going to try to make everybody happy and I have
convinced my principal that to reschedule only causes problems. The teachers
tried asking a few others to switch and those teachers didn't want to switch.
It put it in a whole other light.-so they stopped asking them and me. Now, at
the bottom of the master schedule that they all rec. at the beginning of the
year, it clearly states in bold , large letters, no classes will be made up if
missed for any reason. When did they think I could " fit them in'??? I have
no free time to plan, put up work etc. I won't souble up classes. Would
they? Sorry for ranting- it struck a chord. Betsy
