This year's Acadamy Award winner for best documentary short ,"King
Gimp", airs tonight on HBO at 7 pm. It is the story of Daniel
Keplinger, the young man stricken with cerebral-palsy who turned to
painting to express his fighting spirit.
His paintings are currently on view at the Phillis Kind Gallery in SoHo
through June 30. HBO is simultaneously mounting a virtual exhibit on the
Internet, at hbo.com.
