Woody, we scan regular photos (of images that would be lousy with a digital)
and shoot digital. I require my Art II's to have a traditional portfolio and
a zip disk. We start storing images in the traditional portfolio. At the end
of the course they choose their very best and put those on the zip disk in a
folder. At the end of their first advanced class they begin putting
everything in a Power Point (we're going to start using Hyperstudio)
presentation. Then at the end of each advanced class they add to it and edit
it. All of this stays on the zip disk until it is time to burn it to a CD.
Their portfolio includes their philosophy, process folios, etc.
