    Dear Tired Fellow Art Teachers
     We only have two more days (Teacher-In-Service) Saturday and Monday.
    I have a fundraiser every year -The ART MART- for the past three years..Kids
    made handmade watercolor notcards..( package-4 to a pack plus envelopes)
    They made clay garden stakes, paint clay planters, and teachers donate their
    own works of art . The kids also did clay scupltey pins.... I have it in my
    art room..12-4pm one Friday..only have to cancel two classes..the rest of the
    teachers UNDERSTAND and come to buy too! We netted $850.00 this year. That's
    average.... The money goes to our Educational Foundation (but, whenever the
    art program needs something I put in a purposal- They purchased a new kiln
    this year- get the picture?) Everyone loves it--The kids donate a piece and
    make one of their own to go home.so everyone is HAPPY!
    It also is advertised-flyers sent out..local TV mentions it--- Good fundraiser
