Electronic portfolios

    All of my students will begin learning to do electronic portfolios beginning next year. All of their work will either be scanned or photographed using a digital camera. We will be using Power Point to do this.

    They will begin their presentation with a "movie image" with the Sony Mavica digital camera...5 sec is long enough for them to say their name and introduce their portfolio. Then they will add all of their images to power point and if there have more than one file of images...which they will...they will learn how to link them together so they will end up with "one presentation".

    Then they will "burn" their presentation onto a CD. My seniors going on to art school will make as many CD's as they need.

    Next year I'm thinking about having them do an electronic portfolio - does anyone have any experience with doing this?
