    Dear Laurie,

    In HS, I think its fine... I'm not always sure about elementary school art
    exams... Part of the reason I fell in love with art is because there were no
    tests. I remembered everything so well because there was no stress attached
    to it, it was pure joy to have art class, and I was eager to pay attention!
    It makes me wonder what my own outcome in life would have been if I had known
    as a young student I'd be made to take some test...

    (and its not like I wasn't a good student in other subject areas!) I just
    remember that enjoyed learning with no strings attached in that assessing way!
