    I'm sure my previous response to your message sounded frustrated, and I'm
    sorry if that upset you, but when I started the process of being able to
    teach, the only people who discouraged me were teachers (I wasn't on the
    list yet, so I don't mean any of youall). If anybody ever wonders why
    teachers are getting hard to recruit, they might consider that what working
    teachers say to hopeful/new teachers about their profession is much more
    influential than what we see on the nightly news. If I'd not been from a
    teacher-heavy family I'd have never gone ahead with it. I am SO happy to
    finally get to teach, and to tell me it isn't worth it is unbelieveably
    discouraging and frustrating, so being more specific about the situation is
    helpful, thanks.
